Michael Ealy Got Flustered While Proposing to Zoe Saldana in 'Takers'
The movers and shakers of Hollywood premiered 'Takers' on Wednesday night in Hollywood. Michael Ealy told ET how he worked up the courage to ask for Zoe Saldana's hand in marriage--just for the film. In real life, 'Avatar' star Zoe is a blushing bride-to-be, newly engaged to Keith Britton. Michael recalled feeling butterflies “the moment where I had to propose to her because I was so, so nervous and I just asked her...I feel awkward, I feel nervous and you're not really like my fiancé, so I don't know how to say it. It was very, very scary, but she was so supportive of it. I appreciated that. She was like, 'Just ask me. I'll say yes.'" LaLa Vazquez recently walked down the aisle, but was noticeably alone on the red carpet. Husband Carmelo Anthony was "training in Baltimore right now. He's getting ready to play some basketball in the summer," she assured. "Who wants to watch him train? That's boring. I'd rather be at premieres having fun."
